Education towards Health at Practical one-year School

This diploma thesis focuses on Education towards health at Practical one-year school. The thesis is divided into three parts. First, the theoretical part describes didactic methods used during education, the subject of Education towards Health, intellectual disability and the way it affects pupils at school, Practical one-year school and its place in the Czech education system and lastly it presents tools that teachers use for effective teaching especially for the subject of Education towards Health and with intellectually disabled pupils. The availability of different materials for teaching this subject at Practical one-year school is presented in the second part of this work, that in the form of charts sums up the results of a questionnaire. It confirms the original assumption, that there is a lack of materials among the responders. The last part of the thesis is practical. The aim of this work was to create various tools that can be used for teaching some aspects of Education towards Health at Practical one-year school. The author created and tested 21 different tools, worksheets and games which can be used for teaching said subject to pupils with intellectual disability. Complete set of these educational materials is presented in the annexe of this work.

Implementation of Health Education into the school educational program of the church school

This thesis deals with the implementation of Health Education in the school curriculum of a church school. The aim of the thesis is to map the current relevance of Health Education, its importance and interdependence in the formal and informal curriculum of St. Augustine's schools - kindergarten, primary school and high school. The theoretical part contains basic information about the educational field of Man and Health, the educational field of Health Education and the didactic transformation of the school curriculum into educational reality. Another part is dedicated to the introduction of Augustinian schools, Augustinian pedagogy and important documents of the school. The final part explains the implementation of Education for Health in the school curricula of the kindergarten, primary school, and St. Augustine's Gymnasium. The aim of the practical part is to find out, through a questionnaire survey among pedagogical and non-teaching staff and parents of children, pupils and students of Augustinian schools, what their awareness of the content of Health Education is, how they perceive its importance and evaluate the implementation of Health Education in schools. Curriculum planning in health education

This diploma thesis is focused on curriculum planning in health education. The aim of the work was to design model lessons for a selected thematic unit of health education at a selected primary school. The model lessons are based on an analysis of the school's educational program which focused on the current document and the integration of health education into optional subjects. A partial goal of this work was also to find out whether health education teachers are informed about the concept of health education at their school. Among other things, the partial goal was to find out the current state of implementation of health education in the educational reality. Analysis of the school curriculum, observations, and interviews were used to obtain information. This diploma thesis contains twelve models of lessons of the thematic unit sex education. During the analysis was found that the school curriculum of the selected school contains incorrect information, is out of date and some fields of study are completely missing in the document. There is no subject focused on healt education in the selection of optional subjects, but we can find a partial blend in the two offered optional subjects. The issue of implementation of the education of health education in biology

The present Master's thesis is concerned with the issue of implementation health education as a part of school subject called Biology at a chosen primary and secondary school. The aim of the thesis is to verify the functionality of curriculum implementation at the chosen school and also to propose a right model of implementation health education as a part of Biology easily applicable from own teaching experience. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part deals with a brief characterization of education in the Czech Republic, The Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and relating significant terms, School Education programme and educational areas. The practical part is focused on real situation of implementation health education as a part of Biology at the chosen primary and secondary school where I work as a teacher. I was doing my research in Year eight and nine that is given health education lessons. I used a knowledge questionnaire as a method of research. The practical part investigated and brought aggregate information about the issue of implementation of given fields of education, which I used for my own project.
